Renowned NGO Slunce awards Sponsor of the Year diploma to C4C for years of ardent support

Jana Snoblova accepted the prestigious annual award for C4C, given by the influential charity "Slunce" during the annual celebration of the organization in the Obecni Dum in Prague. Jana, aka "C4C's Mother Teresa", has for the last 10 years supplied the charity with fresh fruits and vegetables to supplement the diet of the Slunce homes for handicapped in Nouzov and Unhost.

Early morning on Tuesdays, Jana single-handedly fills the C4C van with fresh fruits and vegetables, generously donated by the Efes company in Prague, and distributes them as part of C4C's "Vitamin Team" effort to institutions with resident children and the handicapped. Most of the budgets of these institutions are severely challenged and this help is greatly appreciated as it saves the homes resources and cost and also helps to feed the residents a balanced diet. As every year, the "Cena Slunce" event is held in the prestigious Obecni Dum in Prague 1 and is supported by many Czech celebrities and stars, this time around by singers Jitka Molavcová, Kateřina Brožová, Zdeněk Merta, Zora Jandová and Tomáš Savka, who, supported by the popular Orchester Kryštofa Marka, gave emotional and gripping performances.

The award was presented to Jana by popular presenters Hana Heřmánková & Petr Jančařík who thanked her for her and C4C's unwavering commitment in delivering the aid shipments every week for over a decade.

And even though no one here at C4C, including Jana, expects to be recognized or awarded for their work - it does feel good if someone takes notice of our efforts to make this world a better and more livable place.

Thank you Slunce!
