In case you’ve missed it: Besides our regular updates and articles right here on this website (you’re reading one right now… J ), C4C also has an active Facebook presence.

Admittedly, as far as C4C’s Facebook presence is concerned, we’ve been somewhat of a “Johnny come lately…” in that realm. Even though sporadic events were covered on Facebook since 2010, regular coverage, in earnest, got off the ground only in 2013. But as the old adage goes: “Better late than never…”

Meanwhile, we’ve streamlined the process considerable, and what was started by our dear Aja, who is now on maternity leave (cutest little girl in the world, by the way…) is now being taken care of by Kathy, who took over for her in 2014.

“I really want to make 2014 ‘C4C’s Year of Facebook’”, smiles Kathy. “It’s an ideal way of communicating the happenings around C4C and the many things that are getting accomplished.”

Please pass the C4C Facebook link around your network, we’d just love to have the “likes” go through the ceiling and reach the thousands (currently at around 500). Perhaps social media could also serve to fund special, selected projects through what is commonly known as “crowd-funding”. The sky is the limit, really!

So, here’s our official appeal to “read & like” C4C’s Facebook updates. It would be wonderful if Kathy’s hard work would be rewarded with a large circle of friends and admirers, spreading the good news and presenting C4C’s important work with children in need and at risk to an ever wider audience.
