Activists of CHANCE 4 CHILDREN visit mayor.

Mayor of Kosice, Frantisek Knapik received on Friday, 9th of November representatives of CHANCE 4 CHILDREN, which participated in humanitarian aid. They have distributed new shoes and clothing from Swedish clothing chains to east Slovakian orphanages. Fully loaded truck with brand clothes traveled fro Prague directly to an orphanage in Kosice on Uralska street, where the directors of 13 orphanages where waiting to pick up the shipment. As stated by the coordinator from donor's side, J. Rafal Wojas, CHANCE 4 CHILDREN operates 11 years and is focusing it's activities on children residing in orphanages. With it's activities they reach orphanages in Czech Republic, Poland, Bosna & Herzegovina. Beside the charity work, they also focus their attention on children leaving orphanages, that have to take care of themselves. "We're helping them in their new start in life, so that they can take care of themselves" said J. Wojas.

F. Knapik appreciated this ambicious plan and thanked them for their help. "Your work is usefull and needed. To create a problem is simple, but it takes a lot of strength to solve it", added mayor.
